To be honest I have done this painting just for fun and to play with colours. I was sure about the result when I started this painting. However, the painting turned out to be a good one than I expected.

Red roses

Its always tough task to capture the dynamics of rose. In this loose water colour painting I just tried to accept the challenge.

The colours of heaven

I have completed this painting couple of days back. It’s a small painting. The size is approximately 10" x 8". I did this painting just for fun & I really enjoyed the process & of course the end result.

According to some of my friends, this painting reflects my heart.  So, I decided to let “The colours of heaven” reflect my heart in my blog, too.

The island

In this painting I just tried to capture an island and the peace exist there.

I am satisfied with the end result mainly because I have achieved the desired result within a short span of time. Still I expect your suggestions & feedbacks.

Old architectural structure

The beauty of old architectural structure has always fascinated me to capture them on paper or on canvas.

Wet lands

The location I tried to depict in this painting “Wet lands” is Kerala, a state of India. Kerala is also popularly known as “God’s own country” since the tourism dept. of Kerala govt. has adopted the brand “God’s Own Country” to promote the tourism of the state.

With the Arabian Sea in the west & well networked forty four rivers, Kerala enjoys unique geographical features. The exotic beaches, emerald back waters, hill stations, wildlife, waterfalls, plantations, flora & fauna makes Kerala as one of the most sought after tourism destinations in Asia.

Early morning

This time I decided to do something different with limited colours.

In this painting I just tried to capture an Early Morning. The sky is filled with cloud; the ray of the sun is visible only in the distant sky. I believe, somehow, partially I achieved what I set out to achieve & I am happy with the result. Still Comments, feedbacks & suggestions are most welcome.

Remote village (NE India)

In this painting I just tried to capture a remote village of North East India (NE India).

NE India has wide alpine geographical diversity and corresponding climatic conditions. NE India endowed with thick evergreen forests with numerous streams, rivers and gorges and hundreds and thousands of species of flora and fauna. The population in this region is comparatively less than the other parts of India & still most of the places are away from modern amenities.

I hope the brief description will help you to understand the location & its atmosphere better I tried to capture. I doubt I justified with the atmosphere & its freshness. I decided to leave it up to you to gauge.

Street with old buildings

These buildings are the mirror of by gone days of India. These buildings have been maintained to keep the glory of India intact. Both the buildings of this painting are old but still standing tall to enhance the beauty of the street as well as the city.

This painting reflects my humble effort to capture such a beautiful street with old buildings.

Railway platform

Indian railway has the largest rail network in Asia & second largest in the world under one management system. Indian railway helps transporting 20 million passengers daily. It is also one of the world's largest commercial or utility employers with more than 1.6 million employees. The platform of Kharagpur, West Bengal, India is the longest platform in the world. Length: 1,072 m (3,517 ft).

All those fascinating facts of Indian railway have compelled me to capture a scene of Indian railway platform. In this painting I just tried to capture a small town railway platform. It’s up to you to judge how far I have justified with this painting.

Sunny afternoon

In this painting I just tried to capture a moment of sunny afternoon. (A moment, 1-2 hours prior to sun set).

The sun is throwing its bright golden colour to the sky & earth. So, everywhere you look there is shining golden layer, creating a mesmerising environment.

Drizzling

The title of this painting says the atmosphere exactly I wanted to capture. But it’s your turn to judge how far I achieved it.

Even though I am sharing this painting with you, but I miserably failed to reflect the way I decided to reflect it prior to the start of this painting.

Aqua life

Beneath the sea there is some hidden beauty. I just tried to capture the same in this painting.

I used different techniques to reflect how I feel about the aqua life.
